ABOUT THE MYSTERY
The year is 1940.

A woman has been found murdered. As a detective it is your job to find out who the murderer is.
​
As the story unfolds, you solve entertaining and challenging tasks while interacting with and experiencing New York as it was in 1940.
​
By the end you will learn the solution to the true crime mystery that inspired this game. But before that, you have to decide who you believe the killer is and what evidence supports your decision?
​
The envelope contains everything you need in your investigation. Each chapter contains tasks, facts, and information that elaborates on the circumstances of the case.

How does it work?
Go to the pick up point, which is a short walk from the starting point, to collect your mystery. Begin the game any time you want at the starting point indicated on the envelope.
The mystery takes place outside and is a private group activity, no third party members or additional players are involved. It is possible to play the game in larger groups, go to FAQ for more information or send an email with your request to: contact@solveamystery.com

The mystery HUNT
The Murder by the Empire State Building takes place outdoors by the Empire state building.
​
The end destination is by New York Public Library.
​
To play the mystery, you must gather you team and find your way to the Empire State Building. Stand facing the main entrance from the other side of the street.
​
Open the envelope and the game begins. If you are several groups competing against each other, the team that solves the mystery and earns the most points wins!
